Whole House Air Filtration From IQAir Perfect 16
What does it mean to be perfect? We can't tell you that, but we can tell you how easy perfect air is to breathe and what it smells and taste like. That's because we have an IQAir Perfect 16 HEPA filtration system installed in the GoVacuum offices. The IQAir Perfect 16 is a MERV 16 rated system. Why only MERV 16? That's because the MERV rating system only goes as high as 16! That's right you can't get any better filtration in the world then with the IQAir perfect 16. Period. Paragraph. The Perfect 16 is essentially a filtration box that's built with 4 filters inside. These filters are made of a special micro-filtration media material that is aligned in a dual V or W pattern, this maximizes the air flow while filtering out almost everything that passes through them.
No HEPA Filter
The IQAir perfect 16 filtration system is does not use a HEPA filter. This may seem odd that the makers of the worlds first and only EN1822 Hyper HEPA air purifier does not use a HEPA filter, but the reason for that is quite simple, you would damage you air handler, air conditioner or heater if this was made of HEPA filtration media because it's that sealed of a system. So to solve this what IQAir did was come up with a special filter media that uses 10 times thinner hair fibers then other filters, thus allowing air to pass through easier, but still filters better then any other system on the market today. 170 feet of the filter media placed on 4 filters is put in the box and staggered like a W or 2 conjoined V's. Once installed by a certified IQAir technician, the air in your home will be 90-95% cleaner in under 2 hours. That's not a claim, it's a guarantee from IQ Air!
