The Dyson DC33 Multi-Floor is an entry level Dyson model, ideal for someone who wants the power and cleaning capabilities that Dyson vacuums offer, without having all the bells and whistles that drive the cost up so high on other models, say the Animal models, or "The Ball" models for instance.

The DC33 still provides the same suction, same cleaning ability on floors, as their top of the line Animal models, just doesn't include all of the same attachments and extra tools that the more expensive models do.

The DC-33 Mult-Floor provides the user the capability of going from carpeting and rugs, and to bare surface floors by simply adjusting the rug / floor pedal at the base of the machine, which stops the beater bar from spinning, and just uses the suction, preventing damage to bare surface floors.

All Dyson Bagless vacuums include their patented Root Cyclone technology, which is why the Dyson machines have as much suction power, and trap as many microscopic particles they do.    This technology revolutionized the Bagless vacuum industry, and is now trying to replicated by many other brands.  Dyson vacuums, including the DC33 Mult-Floor, still are leaps ahead of the competition in Cyclone Technology.

Perhaps one of the best features on the Dyson DC33 besides is brute suction and cleaning performance, is the Telescoping Wand and hose.   The handle of the vacuum easily converts into an expandable hose and cleaning wand, giving the DC-33 MultFloor a maximum reach of 16 ft, long enough to vacuum an entire set of stairs without even having to move the vacuum cleaner.  This Telescope Wand feature also makes cleaning above the floor very easy and convenient.

While we're not huge fans of bagless vacuum cleaners in general, the Dyson models surely have the most hygienic and easy dust bin emptying on any other bagless vacuum on the market.   Simply press the red release button where the handle on the Dust Bin and the vacuum meet to remove the entire bin from the vacuum.  It's highly recommended to then take this outside of your home, or in the garage to empty, as no matter how hygienic it is, you will end up releasing some dust and particles back into the air.   No matter what any manufacturer claims, homes with breathing issues such as Asthma, as well as homes that have people who suffer from allergies, a bagless vacuum, even the Dyson is NOT the right choice of vacuum.   A bagged vacuum should be used instead.

The Dyson DC-33 Multi-Floor Upright is lightweight, weighing in at only 17.6 pounds, which is nice for homes that have multiple levels and have to carry a vacuum up and down the stairs.   With a long 35ft. power cord, and a 16ft extension wand and hose, the Dyson DC33 has a maximum reach of 51.1 feet.
