This is a replacement filter designed to fit the Riccar Brilliance Tandem Air Upright Series Vacuum Cleaners.  Each box contains 2 filters, 1 Pleated Cartridge HEPA Filter With Active Charcoal to Eliminate Odors, and 1 Secondary Motor Filter which also contains active charcoal to help capture and eliminate odors.  The Cartridge HEPA Filter is located inside the vacuum bag compartment at the bottom, near where the upright body portion, and the cleaning head meet, underneath of the bag.  The filter is secured by a tab on the left of the filter, and can be removed by pulling the tab on the filter to the right.   Replace the new Cartridge HEPA Exhaust Filter and push until you hear a snap, which is the filter tab securing itself to the vacuum.

The second filter is a black colored filter, and is stored inside of the bag compartment as well, however this filter is to the left side of the bag itself, secured by a filter bracket.   Simply pull the tab on the bracket towards the right to release the filter bracket, and throw away the old filter.

It's recommended that normal homes replaces these two filters once every year at least.   Homes that have allergy sufferers, or people with breathing issues such as Asthma, should replace these filters more frequently, or every 6 months to ensure peak filtration on the vacuum.

This replacement filter set fits all Riccar Brilliance Tandem Air Upright Models Including:

• Riccar Premium Brilliance, Model BRLP (Blue)
• Riccar Deluxe Brilliance, Model BRLD (Gold)
• Riccar Standard Brilliance Model BRLS (Green with no on-board attachments)

The filter is meant to fit Riccar part numbers RF5P, RF5D, and RF5S.   Even if your Brilliance didn't come standard with a HEPA filter, this filter can still be used in all Brilliance models.   Made by Envirocare Technologies, Part 985, UPC 836301009844.
