I bought this vacuum after checking Consumer Reports thoroughly. My previous vacuum was melting my carpet and was on it's last let. I was looking for something good with dog hair and lightweight because I have arthritis, as well as weak wrists from breaking them previously. This vacuum is amazing!!! It gets deep down better than anything I've ever used. My only problem is the dirt receptacle. It isn't large enough and I seem to have to empty it frequently. I highly recommend it. :)
