This is the entire steel roller brush assembly for Riccar and Simplicity uprights that have the rug/floor switch. This is the switch that turns the roller brushes off when vacuuming bare floor.

The roller brush includes the steel core, 4 brushes, 2 ball bearings, and the clutch assembly including spring, and outer clip. This part should be replaced every 4-5 years, or as the brushes and bearings wear down.
