This is the entire steel roller brush assembly for Riccar all Riccar 2000/4000/8000/ and the new Vibrance series uprights that do NOT have a Rug/Floor switch on them. These machines have no switch on the machine to turn the roller brushes off. If your roller brush spins all the time, this is the right brush for your vacuum. The assembly includes the steel core, 4 teflon brushes, 2 ball bearings, and both rubber end caps. This roller brush (sometimes referred to as the beater bar) should be replaced every 4-5 years or as the brush and bearings wear out.
