Miele's new HyClean style of vacuum bag is the best filtration bag that Miele has out with yet. The bag offers 9 separate layers of filter material in the bag itself. The increased layers help contain the very fine dust that cause allergy and asthma sufferers major problems. Also the new bag is engineered to automatically seal itself when the hood of the vacuum cleaner is opened. This prevents any contact with dust while removing and disposing of the vacuum bag. This is an excellent new upgrade for asthma and allergy sufferers.

Each package of Miele HyClean bags comes with 4 vacuum bags, 1 pre-motor filter and 1 Super-Air clean post motor filter. The pre-motor filter is the scruffy type of filter, similar to a scrubbing pad. The Super Air Clean post motor filter is a cloth type filter. The pre-motor filter is the most important filter on your Miele, and Miele includes the filter in every box of bags, and reommends to be replaced every 4 bags, or every time a new box is opened.

The Super Air Clean post motor filter, the cloth type of filter, sits on the top of the motor, and is the exhaust filter. The Super Air Clean filter is ONLY used if your canister does NOT have the upgraded HEPA Filter If you have a HEPA Filter in your vacuum, you will not use the Super Air Clean Filter.

This high performance bag replaces the former Miele Types F, J and M paper dustbags, and the FJM Intensive Clean bags. Constructed with an intricate web of nine-ply random-spun polymer fibers, far more tiny particles and allergens are retained than with conventional paper bags. Air flow is also improved significantly, especially as the bag fills. For use in Miele S200 series compact plus S300 and S500 series midsize canisters and power teams.
